How exactly does the 6-week cohort work — what's the time commitment?

Each week follows the same rhythm: before the live session, you watch the training video at your own pace — structured walkthroughs and implementation frameworks. Then you join a live implementation session where you build the week's system in your actual tools, with Melanie, Chief of Staff expert, and Matt Mason, our AI and technology strategist and co-facilitator, in the room. After the session, you have a full week to implement in your real work environment — running the automation, testing the workflow, using the templates with your actual exec. At the start of the next session, you bring what worked, what broke, and what questions came up. We troubleshoot together and move forward. You're never left to figure it out alone between sessions.

Do I need to be technical to get value from this?

No. Zero coding, ever. Claude Cowork is built for non-technical operators — if you can write an email, you can use it. In the cohort, Matt Mason, our AI and technology strategist and co-facilitator, is in every session specifically so that when something isn't working in your setup or your workflow needs a custom approach, you're not stuck. You brief him. He solves it. You keep moving.

Can my company pay for this?

Yes — and most do. The cohort costs less than one week of a CoS salary at most Series B companies. If you reclaim 10 hours a week, it pays for itself in under two weeks. Most companies approve professional development like this without a second conversation. That said, we'd encourage you to secure your spot first and seek reimbursement after — waiting on a formal approval process risks losing your seat entirely, and cohort spots don't hold.

What tools do I need before I start?

Claude Pro or Claude Max ($20–$100/mo depending on tier) and Google Workspace — that's it. Everything is built inside Claude Cowork, so there's no third-party tool stack to configure or pay for separately. We'll send you a setup checklist before the program starts, and Module 1 covers the full setup live so you're never on your own figuring it out.

Who are the facilitators?

The program is led by two people who bring very different — and very complementary — expertise. Melanie Jones is the founder of Elevation Chief of Staff Training and The Chief of Staff Coach™.
